What the fuck am I trying to say? 

If you've sat with me for any particular amount of time, you might notice a frustration. One that manifests itself in a stammer, a visible anxiety as my vocal cords contort in a shear absence of vocabulary being sent down from the upstairs. And at this point in our conversation, I know you know (or at least have made an assessment) of how much damaged I've taken on which, admittedly, is a lot. Even worse, I do think sometimes, falsely, that this modality benefits me "somehow" on my goal of becoming well adjusted (The key word there being "somehow" but that's a whole other post for another time). Yet work (our conversation) continued and somehow I was certain I could pull it of.

Personally, I have always held the American Dream as a vainer 

 My brother, six years my junior, has been 

 example, take the American Dream. 

   As a metaphor, particularly among the lost generation, this dream symbolized a rewarded work ethic, as accessible as a warm slice of freshly baked apple pie. Window raised, it's aroma carried aloft on a mystic breeze.
